🐍 Matchday Recap | CCL 2026 T20 Div II | Long Island Vipers vs Thunder Birds

Perfect fall weather, purple kits looking sharp, and a solid game of cricket. The result didn’t go our way, but the Vipers don’t stay down for long.

We won the toss, batted first, and put up 112/9. Mohammad Masud led the way with a quick 27 off 26 (including a big six 💥), and Sameen Chowdhury dug in for a gritty 19. Credit to the Thunder Birds bowlers, who made us work for every run.

With the ball, Md Shaheen and Saifuzzaman Tanim picked up a wicket each and kept fighting to the end. Thunder Birds got there in 17.5 overs. Well played to them, they earned it.

Losses like this teach you the most. We’ll be back on the practice field this week, tightening things up, and we’ll come back hungrier. 🔥

See you next week. Bring snacks. 🐍💜
