The Ronkonkoma Sporting Club (RSC) was founded in 2006 by a group of local Bangladeshi community cricketers who believed sport could bring people together. What started as a passion for cricket on Long Island quickly grew into something much bigger.
Today, RSC is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young generations the opportunity to stay active through sports and social activities. We organize competitive teams, recreational play, and community events across multiple sports.
In 2025, the Long Island Vipers Cricket Club became an official part of RSC — strengthening our commitment to cricket and community on Long Island.

What Drives Us
We provide structured opportunities for teenagers and adults to stay physically active year-round through organized sports, practices, and competitions.
RSC brings together people from all walks of life under one roof — fostering friendships, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging within the Long Island community.
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, RSC provides coaching, mentorship, and competitive play to help every member grow as a player and a person.

Our founding sport and greatest passion. RSC cricket teams compete in the Long Island Premier League (LIPL) and the Commonwealth Cricket League (CCL). The Long Island Vipers are RSC’s flagship cricket club.

Organized soccer for all skill levels. RSC runs both outdoor and indoor soccer sessions with team-vs-team matches. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started, there’s a spot on the pitch for you.
One of RSC’s most popular indoor sports. We host singles and doubles play with a large and growing community of badminton players. RSC badminton sessions are fast, fun, and fiercely competitive.
From casual rallies to singles and doubles tournaments, RSC tennis brings players of all levels to the court. Indoor courts keep the game going year-round regardless of weather.
RSC volleyball sessions bring the energy every week. Team-based play with rotating lineups keeps it fresh and competitive. If you love the spike, come join us at the net.
Fast-paced pickup games and organized leagues. RSC basketball brings serious energy to the court.
Quick reflexes, big competition. RSC table tennis is always entertaining and highly competitive.

Club History
A group of passionate Bangladeshi community cricketers in Ronkonkoma, Long Island came together with a shared vision — use sport to build community. The Ronkonkoma Sporting Club was born.
RSC established itself as a hub for cricket on Long Island, building a loyal community of players and supporters. More sports were gradually introduced to serve the growing membership.
RSC officially became a registered nonprofit organization — formalizing our commitment to community sports and making it easier to serve Long Island families for years to come.
The Long Island Vipers Cricket Club officially became part of RSC — uniting Long Island’s premier cricket club with RSC’s broader multi-sport community mission.

There is no fee to join RSC. We believe sport should be accessible to everyone in our community — no cost, no barriers.
RSC is open to everyone, with a primary focus on teenagers and adults looking to stay active, compete, and connect with the Long Island community.

Long Island Vipers Cricket Club
The Long Island Vipers are RSC’s flagship cricket team, competing in the Long Island Premier League (LIPL) and the Commonwealth Cricket League (CCL). Founded in 2016, the Vipers joined RSC in 2025 and represent the highest level of cricket within our club family.
